Lux was pleased to see Adi in such a good mood but then it was his birthday. She had noticed that things seemed strained with Benny lately though she hadn't been sure if she should ask about it. Even if they were close, it wasn't exactly her place to intrude on their business. She was still there for them both.
The comment about her being 17 soon got a smile, and she was about to comment on the cucumber sandwich comment when Professor Flamsteed started speaking. Someone didn't seem to be in the best of moods and Lux wondered if it was related to poor Pebbles. Giving Adi a wink, she listened as the lesson began. Werewolves, huh. Sounded pretty interesting if not creepy. She wasn't really a fan but so long as she never encountered one she would be fine. Professor Dakest probably had a lot to say about them as well seeing as he taught the subject dealing with DARK CREATURES.
Notebook at the ready, Lux made sure to record everything important even though she already knew about the moon cycle. Never hurt to be thorough.
Flammy was covering the transformation, Dakest would be covering the creatures themselves, so...what would Culloden be teaching about? Unless...

Task completed in a few seconds, she stood up and held her little moon between her face and the bluebell flame. Raising her hand, she said "this is a new moon. It is the first phase of the moon!" Hence it being called NEW. |
