Where were all the cool creatures at? The Graysons of the animal kingdom? He wanted to be learning about THOSE.
Spotting the Professor, Grayson gave the man a small smile and a 'sup nod while saying, "Heeeeeey, Professor Thompson." Yeah, good to see him and all that jazz. Not wanting to seem like an eager beaver but also not wanting to miss anything exciting, Grayson came to a stop somewhere near the front of the class and tucked his hands in his pockets.
