Taladona Jordan. Of course. Emmalee had meant to follow up with her co-Heads to find out if anyone had hired the young woman into their department, but in all the haze of the engagement and the vacation, it had completely slipped her mind.

The older woman smiled, though. "Tala," she said, still not sitting, and absently rubbing her thumb along the band of her ring - had he told her? - as she continued, "I'm glad to see you got the position. Where did you end up?" Because Emmalee could not recall the women having discussed that particular detail.

She looked up and around though, thinking it was probably best not to monopolize Tala's time in this exercise, for both personal and professional reasons. But who could she wave over?
