For some reason. Actually...."Would you like me to look into it, Professor?" She was trying to get into the professor's good graces after all.

There was some polite smiling going on, too.

That.....was probably the weirdest answer to this question ever. She'd been watching a turtle eat. In a book. But pretending to be interested in the same things as people you wanted to impress was one of her specialties so Maggie took a step towards the professor. "Can I see?"
