Moxley looked up from her book and raised an eyebrow, her expression unreadable (she'd been working on that, shh). She wasn't really bothered. Actually, she was more amused by the fact that the Slytherin hadn't been smart enough to look at who she was talking to before speaking like that. Not exactly the brightest snake in the snake pit, this one. Still, it had been disrespectful and she was a professor. A professor who was well known and widely loved, at that! Hmph.
"Ms. Traulton, I trust you do not go around talking to your professors like that regularly as I know Healer Murdoch and Professor Bellaire are sticklers for the rules. Well, Maggie hadn't really expected a positive reaction from the professor. So when she spoke up, the third year kept her head bowed, by now simply hoping that she wasn't in TOO much trouble. Like. Detention would be highly embarrassing. For insulting a professor nonetheless. Yeah. No.

"Turtles, professor?" ?????????? Like. What? She took a step forward, giving Professor Moxley a highly confused look. Was this a test? Was her knowledge on turtles going to determine whether or not she was going to lose points?? Why turtles?? "May 23 is World Turtle Day." Was she supposed to just list random facts?
