Kara continued her work on the plants as they talked. They really were starting to look much better, and it was making her quite happy. With the plants at least, the conversation had kind of turned to something that made her uncomfortable. She tried to hide it, though she did start playing with the end of her braid. "Yeah, its mostly that I guess. Stay out of the way, they won't call on you." Its not like she wasn't smart, it was just that even after having two full years of magical training, she still felt like she was often behind the others. And of course, there was her well, fear, of some of the professors. "Its just, easier that way."

"Oh, I didn't even notice the shed," she admitted sheepishly. "I was just focused on what I was working on, I guess." Plucking a couple of weeds, she nodded. Hard work wasn't foreign to her. "You do a lot of manual labor at home? Do you live on a farm too or something?" Sitting back, she rested on her heels and observed their work so far. It was looking very beautiful, and she was quite pleased with their progress. "Hmmm," she mused. "I think a little bit of fertilizer would be okay." Getting up, she rubbed her hands on her pants to clean them off. "Did they have some in the shed?"
