"I don't think so," the Gryffindor assured him, pausing in step as the toad was placed on his head. "At least none of the ingrediants used are dangerous," he added turning his eyes almost crossed to look up at his traveling companion. And Culloden had checked it over....at least for human consumption. "He does," he agreed absently, relaxing into the stance of carrying the creature on him.
So ...his potion.
Benny joined Adi on the ground, kneeling as he reached into his pocket for where he had stashed the vial. Pouring a little potion into the cap, the sixth year placed the bottle somewhere safe. He then picked Gus up off his head and placed him before the cap to get him to drink. "Try it Guster."
Benny was SO quiet! Not that Adi minded. He was quite used to it after four years. Besides, he had enough chatter in him for both of them.
"I've been practicing. Bellaire's been helping too because she's giving me advice about human transfiguration...'' He figured Animagi and Transfiguring humans shared the same theory. The Hufflepuff looked sideways at his friend.
"Don't worry. I bet you'll love being a real dragon.'' Hehe.
Adi nodded. He had confidence in Benny's choice of ingredients. Plus, Culloden had done his job by checking over the Potion. Anywaaayyy, he adjusted himself on the ground by sitting cross legged and peering intently at Benny and Gus the Dormouse and hair accessory through his specs.
Making a mental note to study Benny's concoction sometime, he watched Gus as he seemingly studied the capful of liquid.
"He's taking his time,'' Adi observed. Gus was now turning his head this way and that as though trying to pick up the scent of the potion. Then with a quick, smooth motion, his long, pink tongue shot out of his mouth to taste the liquid. Ohh, look! Gus seemed to like it for he stuck his tongue in the cork again!
