That hadn't been too bad.
Now it was time for the harder part. Allergy symptoms or no allergy symptoms, she got squeamish just LOOKING at the fruit. It didn't help that so much as touching them normally caused her to break out into hives. She didn't even want to THINK about what they did to her mouth and throat.
Carefully she reached into the bowl and picked one up. Unsurprisingly no skin irritation was caused. Thank Merlin, it had worked. Satisfied, Lux popped the fruit into her mouth and chewed. No swelling of the lips, tongue, and throat.
Yessss. She was good to go which meant she wouldn't have to avoid strawberries like the plague for the next while. |
