Okay. Zhenya had looked at the time she had written down, after Professor Moxley had informed her of when her allocated time int he Telephone Room was. She had arrived 5 minutes before then just to be on time and she waited patiently until it was her time. Zhenya walked into the Telephone Room and took a seat at the cubicle, in front of a telephone. Zhenya looked at it like it was an alien. Zhenya noticed there was a directions sheet there, too, so she had a detailed read over it, glancing up to look at the phone every so often.

So first, all she had to do was pick it up and put it to her ear. Which bit? Zhenya put the directions paper down and started poking at the machine. She pressed some buttons, but nothing happened. No ear piece came out... um? She saw there was a cord there, so she pulled it. Perhaps it was like those muggle lights - pull the string and it turns on? But it wasn't. Something fell from the phone and boinged a few times towards the ground, thankfully not hitting the floor. It made Zhenya squeal and jump back into the back of her chair. "Oh no," she said quietly, looking around. Had it broken? No, Zhenya didn't think so. She reached down and picked up the handset and regarded it with a frown. She put the mouth piece to her ear and the ear piece to her mouth. "Hello?" she asked, not hearing anything. "HELLO?" she said a little louder. Nothing!
