"Sit. Let's talk. I see you have something in your hand similar to what I found in my office just now." She gestured to the stack of two oddball items in the center of her desk. "Why they're here, I don't know. You said the worst thing you had done no longer held any weight over you. Is that still true or did you change your mind because of this?" Annie gave the handbook and poster a nudge toward him.
