 Charms Homework #1: Post 1 Jupiter's Satellite
By the time Tora got to the charms annexe there were already several other students practising. Perhaps she should come back when it was less busy? But no, she reviewed her schedule in her mind and realized that this was really the only free time she had to do it, so it had to be now. She tucked her bag by the door and out of the way of any paint spatters, grabbed her wand, and stepped in.
Best to do a bit of a warm up, no? She ignored high moving ones and instead focused on a fairly low target moving slowly from side to side. Ahem. "Alarte Ascendare!" she said, brandishing her wand and concentrating on the target. A paint balloon soared through the air and.... just barely hit the target. Tora winced. Couldn't she do better than that? She must have misjudged how fast the target was moving or something. Seriously, should be able to hit the target straight on; she was a seventh year!
She sighed and shook out her arm, perhaps she was too tense after the long day? She always performed better when relaxed. Alright. Now, to try again.
