She stepped back and flailed, trying to keep from falling since the owl went to attack her. Melek paused as she accidentally hit someone. Her eyes widened and she looked at the girl. "So sorry... I didnt mean to hit you. Are you okay? My owl is just being a pain and..." She trailed off as she caught her owl trying to get away. "Not so quick!" Melek pounced and grabbed her owl with a smirk. "Ha! Told you, you wouldnt be able to get away." She finally successfully tied the letter to the leg then gave her owl a treat. Mel watched her owl fly away before glancing back at the girl. "I really am sorry for basically accidentally attacking you... are you okay though? Would candy make it up to you?"
Eden noticed one of her housemates as soon as she walked in. Melek was her name right? She was actually IN Eden's year, too. They just didn't share a dorm, with all the seventh year girls and whatnot.

WAS SHE BEING ATTACKED? Eden just CAME OUT HERE TO HAVE A GOOD TIME AND WAS HONESTLY FEELING SO ATTACKED RIGHT NOW. She winced when the girl kind of ran into her, and then stepped back, losing her footing for a second. Eden grabbed a hold of one of the cubbies nearby. Luckily, the owl that usually slept in that one was out---unluckily, Eden's hand smeared riiiiight into some nice, gooey bird poop.
Ugh.
Eden just stared at her.
"Oh MERLIN--it's FINE-" she guessed it was fine. It wasn't really Melek's fault, though...but Eden made a disgusted face at her hand...
"Ugh--" UGH was right.
