Melek hopped down the trail, heading to the Black Lake. It was the second day of taking notes and it was afternoon now... to be exact it was 3:15 in the afternoon. She wandered to the spot that she could see her flags then got out her log book and looked at her watch before writing.

She put up her log and looked at the lake, "Hello, Lakey! I am back... back again..." Yeah... she could not resist the song reference. Melek went into the lake and went to her flags. "After today, Lakey, we only have to do this for another 10 times!" She giggled and measured the lake. She leaned closely and looked at the it. Melek looked around and started to float, trying to enjoy herself and to get use to the water. She was slowly getting over her fear of the lake. Her parents had told her so many bad things about it but... it was actually really nice here. After a while, she went back to the shore. She dried off then got her log, writing the measurement down.

The water was 2 feet 3 and a half inches.
The difference between day one afternoon and day two afternoon is 3 and a fourth inches. The difference between day two morning and day two afternoon is half of an inch. The reason for this difference is that it seems that the morning is bigger than the afternoon.[/spoiler]

She put up her log and looked out at the lake. "Lakey, I will see you tomorrow for measurements. Be good..." She giggled and started off to the castle again since she had gotten the two measurements of the day.

Afternoon: 2:45 pm (sorry for being about 2 and a half minutes late, professor) The water was 2 feet and three-fourths of an inch. The difference of the water levels was one-fourth of an inch. This might be caused by some disturbance when I freaked out because something that I dont know what it was brushed against my leg. The water appears to be higher in the morning but more observations will be needed to make sure. Day 2: Morning: 9:07 am The water was 2 feet 4 inches. The difference between day one morning and day two morning is 3 inches. The difference between day one afternoon and day two morning is 3 and one-fourth inches.
