Mel came out in the morning a little later than she had yesterday but she didnt want to get stuck in the rain. Melek sighed and wandered over to the lake, looking for her flags. As she walked, she talked to the lake, "So you gained weight, Lakey? All that rain... is it really good for you?" She giggled to herself, "I mean you still look good, Lakey... please dont scare me this time though... I mean you almost messed up my whole measuring... I will be in and out in no time if you just behave..." She got out her log and looked at her watch once she reached where her flags were.

She sighed and put it up, going into the lake and measuring it. She leaned close to get the right measurement then looked around. "You know, Lakey, I mean this isnt actually too bad... as long as you dont scare me... The way you move is a little relaxing though it is getting a little too cold to be swimming in here... maybe in the spring, you and I could be best friends but not right now... all I want to do is my homework..." She went to go on shore and smiled when she got on the land. Melek took out her log and went to write the measurements.

She closed her log and looked out at the lake, "Okay, Lakey. I must go now but I will see you around..." She paused and did the calculations. "Around... 3:19 pm... okay? Dont miss me too much..." She then mumbled, "I know I wont miss you..."

Afternoon: 2:45 pm (sorry for being about 2 and a half minutes late, professor) The water was 2 feet and three-fourths of an inch. The difference of the water levels was one-fourth of an inch. This might be caused by some disturbance when I freaked out because something that I dont know what it was brushed against my leg. The water appears to be higher in the morning but more observations will be needed to make sure. Day 2: Morning: 9:07 am She sighed and put it up, going into the lake and measuring it.
