Aw yis, it was time to splatter some paint.

Toby had been looking forward to this assignment since he read about it, but, as usual, left it until the last possible moment to actually go ahead and complete it. BUT... he was here now, and that was what mattered. And, y'know, actually completing the assignment. But turning up was like half the job, or something.

But yeah. Exciting. Toby was curious to see how he'd do; six years of Quidditch meant that he had pretty good aim, but it was difficult when you were THROWING something as opposed to using a spell to send things at a moving target. Still, he'd work at it 'til he hit a few targets, or at least just do his best to have fun.

After grabbing himself one paint balloon (the balloon itself was yellow, but it looked like the paint inside was a totally different colour, COOL!), Toby found himself a spot beneath the first set of targets and wasted no time at all in sending the balloon up with a brandish of his wand.

"Alarte Ascendare!" he cast, with great enthusiasm.

SPLAT........... It had hit the ceiling, nowhere near any of the targets, sailing right past all of them. Um. Maybe it would have been a better idea to check where the targets were before casting the spell to send the balloon up there. Oops. OOPS. Sorry, Quigley. He'd just remember to bring two apples to the next class, as an apology of sorts.

And as blue paint rained down from the ceiling, Toby quickly squeezed his eyes shut and looked down at the floor, to protect them from the pain. Perhaps Impervius would have been a good idea, too, he thought to himself, as his hair and school uniform got splattered with blue paint.

Oh well, the damage was already done! Time to try again, then.
