So this was the Hogsmeade weekend that she had been hearing about. Of course, Keely had briefly seen the town when she got off the train at the very beginning of term, but now she could see what it was really about and if it held up to expectations. And so far she was still waiting for something exciting.

Still, it was nice to get out of the school for a little while and Keely veered away from the crown once she saw a few stores. The candy shop caught her eye first and she thought about heading in to buy some treats for herself as well as send to her little sister and her cousins. She had brought money to spend and that seemed a good place as any to start.

But she didn't get far enough to even see what the store had to offer because as the 16 year old opened the door to walk in side, there was a smaller girl blocking the way. Keely looked at her, eyebrows raised a moment, before clearing her throat to get the young girl's attention. "Excuse me.. you're blocking the entrance, I want to get inside." And she was probably letting all the heat out, holding the door open as she waited.

Oh the sweetness that is a candy shop. Janis just stood there, frozen and amazed. It was so beautiful and bright. Oooh! Look at all of the candies! What would she buy? All of it! One of everything. She wanted one of everything. She would be on a sugar high for days or months.

Throat clearing? A voice? Behind her.

"How ruuude!" The little southern redhead said boldly. Janis turned to the voice behind her and looked at person. "Can you not see with your two eyes that I am in awe here?!" The redhead didn't give the girl any attitude when she said that and she wasn't being mean, Janis is harmless, just a little kid that was taking in the view. "Look at it! Just look at it! All this candy." She sighed happily. It wasn't very often that she got to eat candy.
