So it was Alexander Graham Bell. Janelle began to write notes as the Professor talked about him. She knew a little about the man, but not much. When the next question was asked, Janelle raised her hand and began to speak.

"If a person has to move a lot, they have a way of keeping in touch with the friends they leave behind. They can always pick up the phone and give them a call." Janelle knew about this first hand. She had done more than her share of moving around and it was comforting to know that she could talk to her friends and family whenever she wanted.......or whenever her mom let her call them.

Then she added, "Oh, and deaf people can use the telephone. They have a special kind of phone that deaf people can type their message into and send to their friends. And they can also read the messages that other people send to them." Just a little bit of random information that Janelle knew.
