Not a problem. You may sit wherever you'd like." Lala the goose had been snoozing on the couch until she heard one of her favorite people enter. Another student of his. She merely watched. Would this student pet her? She wouldn't mind either way. She loved the attention.
Professor Thompson then went over where the cups were, pouring some milk and cocoa in before a simple mix with his wand before heating it. "
You like chocolate, correct?" He offered. It was fine if she didn't since he had other hot drinks available to serve before sitting down. He returned the smile with his own, "
I'm doing quite fine, thank you Miss McGee." Noticing the notebook she had with her, "
Now what can I do for you?"
Eden took a seat next the fire and eyed the goose curiously.
"Does she...he? bite?" she asked curiously, holding out her hand for the dear. It seemed to be pretty friendly, though. OF all the geese Eden had ever come into contact with, this was was a winner, because usually geese were MEAN MEAN MEAN, flappy squawking MACHINES.
"I love chocolate." She grinned over at him. It was one of her favorites! Was he making her some hot chocolate? Ooooh. Why were the professors always SO cool about refreshments? Professor Morgan always made her hot cocoa, too, and Mr. Kitridge with his lemonade. Merlin. She needed to find a professor who did cookies...
BECAUSE COOKIES.
"Oh--" Eden chuckled and unfolded her notebook and uncapped her quill.
"I just had...an article I was working on for the Quill?" she blushed slightly.
"I'm in charge of the Creatures and Herbology centered articles. I wanted to do an article this time on..Abraxan races. And I kind of just wanted your opinion on Abraxan racing...if you had ever attended one...and if you're in favor of it, why? And if not--why not?" she asked all of this very clearly and not TOO fast. She had her quill poised, ready to write down whatever he said.
She wished she knew a charm...or had a Quick Quotes Quill. Then, this would be much easier.
