Norah grinned as she entered the Charms Annexe, her mouth slightly open because look at that! There were ACTUAL paint balloons, not just a lie Professor Quigley made up to try and get her to do her homework. Man, she underestimated that cat guy. With wand in hand, she skipped walked all the way to the box and inspected the balloons. Aha! A purple one. That was always the very best color to start with, the rainbow had it all wrong. Lifting the balloon, she made her way over to the lowest targets and then set the wonderfully purple blob down at her feet. "Alarte ascendare!" the fourth year brandished her wand before stepping under the target to get a good view of the balloon going up and up. EXCEPT all of a sudden it wasn't going up and up anymore, it was coming down and down without even having hit the target. By the time it occurred to her that she should get out of the way, Norah's feet felt like they were glued to the floor, and a split second later--SPLAT
She shut her eyes tight as the paint dripped down her face and the back of her neck. A quick pat of her head informed her that all of her auburn curls were caked with paint as well. AWESOME. If only she had a mirror so she could see how radical she looked with purple hair. Maybe she should dye it or something, but paint was more fun anyways. The fourth year aimed her wand at her face and cast, "Scourgify," just so she'd be able to see, and left the rest of her head paint-covered for FUN reasons, y'know.
