Sipping on his lemonade he let Eden talk. It was clear that she needed to get what was really troubling her out in the open. Leo could provide a listening ear. Softy he replied. And as for Gabriel he had probably already forgotten the incident.
Quietly Leo asked. "What are the lots of things that are wrong? Why didn’t you want to come back to school?" he hoped his silent encouragement was enough to get Eden to open up. It was clear that things were more serious than just a few hot-headed words at the feast. And because of this Leo was glad that she had come to see him.
Eden nodded. It was quite encouraging to hear that...she felt like she needed to hear that. She sipped her lemonade quietly for a minute as she tried to figure out how to phrase her next few thoughts to Mr. Kitridge. Hmm.
"Mainly, and I know this might seem like a dumb teenager thing to think, because Phoenix Toros? He was a Gryffindor? He didn't come back for his seventh year due to personal reasons...and...we're a thing." As in, dating and all that jazz. She sighed and ran a hand through her hair and leaned to the side in her chair.
"And.." she looked around, as if making sure no one could hear her.
"Another boy...that I was seeing....stopped seeing me....and....it makes me really sad. Because he understood me so well and...." she shrugged and looked at her lap.
"See? All dumb teenage girl stuff." She chuckled!sighed and just picked at a loose thread on her skirt, her cheeks turning red.
