Kenrick kept his eyes on Jorge, watching him carefully as he absentmindedly rocked the baby seat with one hand. Sure he'd had updates about Jorge's condition and everything, but it was very different to seeing the man in the flesh. His entire demeanour had changed entirely, that much was obvious after merely a moment or two of observation.
He'd have to tread gently, Kenrick knew that. He may have been one of the biggest grouchest to ever grouch, and did not have a whole lot of experience with... head trauma, was it? But Kenrick was no idiot. He knew things were different with Jorge now, that much was obvious.
In the back of his mind, Kenrick wondered how long the other guy had been sat there, because he looked all ready to right, but he could see from here that there were no words on the page.
"How are you doing?" The question felt unnatural, but naturally so. This was unfamiliar territory. "It's been a while." Not that he didn't know where Jorge had been, but...
