"Perhaps it could have a problem with your ego? Or how you interrupt girls when when they are painting." Giving looks. Yes, she wasn't letting that go just yet.

Despite all this big talk, she still held her breathe awaiting his opinion of her work. She always got a little nervous when showing people her work. A lot of it was private, or subjective, but no artist likes being told negative things about their work, so when he spoke, she smiled. "Ah, thank you. It took me several day....a lot of hours...to complete it." It was one of the ones she'd worked on the longest.

"We'll see. Perhaps you could keep complimenting my work, see where that gets you."
