Zeke would have fixated on that and demanded to know WHAT was going on - though he suspected the toys had something to do with it. Alas, he was here with genuine concerns.

When prompted to 'lay it on him', Zeke inhaled a breath and nodded. Here it went.

"Professor, I think I'm in trouble already and I don't know what I did." Yes, big problem, and really, he didn't know WHY he'd lost his strike. It seemed a stupid thing to lose for asking about it, so he figured that wasn't the case. "Professor Sabel... er... Dakest," he corrected, though he DID have permission to call the man by his first name. "He has a rule about people having two strikes, but, that rule doesn't apply to me, I only have one.... why?" Yes, WHY PROFESSOR AIREY?! WHAT WAS THIS SO CALLED POLICY ON STRIKES?!

And this was just the tip of the iceberg, as a third year he had MANY issues and concerns... this was going to be a long meeting, even if he only promised a short one. Whoops?
