Ruby was being Ruby...and Gabe felt embarrassment at the possibility of explaining. Well, explaining THIS, anyway. It wasn't...sensible. And really, he didn't want her trying to fix the problem. Ruby liked to do that...but some things couldn't be as easily mended. He'd been trying with the potions from Culloden and in making 'friends' and all these little things that were considered normal behavior for someone his age.

But if he understood the theoretical part of this charm, it had to be a memory that could fill you up to the brim with happiness. Unfortunately, nothing made Gabe feel that way.

Well. Ruby sighed quietly. She'd give up working on her own patronus in order to be there for Gabriel. She already was pretty sure of exactly what memory would do it for her, so she could just work on it later, right?
She squeezed his hand.
"I wonder if you can make something up? I mean, not a memory but like.... your happy place. Something ideal. I'm guessing no people around, lots of books, and a lifetime supply of pumpkin flavoured things?" She said lightly.
