SPOILER!!: This!
[QUOTE=Tazenhani;11754532]After his first question about Patronuses, there were a few students that had stood out to him. A few students who seemed to be locked in troubled worlds or states. There was little other reason to fear a Patronus charm, and it was disheartening to see.
Especially when one looked near enough to having a panic attack in the middle of his class. Did he bring a paper bag? Sabel patted his pockets down and made a mental note to bring one. Perhaps he'd enlist Zeke to make up a lovely first-aid kit, begrudgingly complete with chocolate frogs.
Stopping near the boy, Sabel tucked his hands in his pockets and rocked back on his heels a little. It was hard not to glance at the paper, but it was the private nature of the lesson that kept his curiosity at bay. "Don't feel you have to force yourself to an accomplishment today, Mr. Banner. This lesson is purely for the benefit of each of you. I cannot tell you what you should get out of it." An encouraging smile went to the boy. "That, is up to you."
There was another thought tickling at the back of his mind, but he put it aside. "If you need help, just ask. Or swing by my office later, and we can chat."

Gabriel didn't realize that a 'panic-stricken' expression was written all over his face. How could he? He wasn't peering into a mirror...but the professor had seen, nonetheless. Of course, the man had. He was teaching defense. Wasn't 'constant vigilance' a motto to his kind?

Cheeks stained a brilliant red, the Ravenclaw ducked his head and nodded to the Professor's offer.
"Thank you, sir." SPOILER!!: This!

She scooted over and gave his parchment a nudge.
Here she was, big brother.
...and there was his sister.
Without hesitation, Gabe grasped at her hand and held onto it, steadfast. She didn't have plans to go anywhere, did she? She wouldn't mind....staying with him a bit....right?
"I'm sorry." Okay, so...maybe he still looked a little freaked out by the task at hand. Professor Dakest had made it clear this wasn't important and for his benefit...but Gabe glanced around, noting that others that were having so much success. He knew that success wasn't measured by one lesson...somewhere deep down, but it was discouraging to his pride, nonetheless. Yes, Gabe did have some pride. Not in the way that others might...but in the sense that he took knowledge and practical application seriously. And it begged to reason that...Merlin forbid, if he ever found himself in danger, would he be able to save himself? No, most likely not. So, due to personal safety, THAT made it important.
"I don't think I can do this."
