Post 2 (anyone welcome to interact- shoot me a VM) Jupiter's Satellite Have confidence, he said, it'll be alright he said. Tora didn't know what to think anymore. There were far too many feelings of frustration building up, she couldn't breathe, think, whatnot. Yeahhhhh, she decided she needed to calm down. Obviously freaking out about a silly memory when she wasn't in mortal peril was only going to banish whatever vivacious memories she had farther into the recesses of her mind. How poetic. How frustrating.
She gave a great sigh and raised her head. "Thank you professor, for the advice," she said, her voice sounding more defeated than she had meant it to.
She rolled over so she was no longer laying on the floor and shoved the crook of her arm over her eyes. If she was going to relive her past, she had better do it without any distractions of other people's partronuses floating around. Hopefully Dakest wouldn't think she was sleeping, but she counted on him being observant. He seemed pretty good at that.
She let her thoughts drift, not really allowing herself to remain on a single topic, clearing her mind for a white space. Isn't that how meditation worked? She relaxed. No longer all tensed up, Tora realized with a start that she hadn't even considered her passion for astronomy into the happy memories. She remembered when Grandpa had taken her on one of his traveling trips into the mountains. There weren't many people, and certainly no lights. It was the first time she had seen the stars properly. Would this be her memory? It wasn't overtly happy, but it was secure. She felt safe and lighthearted thinking about it.
Still in the same position, she fumbled around for her wand. "Expecto Patronum" she whispered, not daring to look. What she didn't see happen was a dribble of silvery smoke that coalesced into a rough form. Slowly, it turned into a little fennec fox which promptly curled up on Tora's chest and 'fell asleep'. But Tora didn't see any of this, she was lost in thinking about the stars.
