But it seemed he didn't have to say anything as that smile appeared, and her attempts produced the first whispers of a patronus charm. He smiled at her encouragingly. "Great work Miss Carrington. Keep it up. Keep focussed on that memory you have. Let it fill you." Chocolate issue far from her mind, Lux was busy spazzing out because HELLO HER PATRONUS WAS MORE FORMED THAN EVER.
Excuse her, she was just having a moment as she watched the faint form disappear. It had almost looked like something, but she wasn't sure what. No matter because this was awesomesauce and Professor Dakest was PRAISING her. An Auror was praising her. WOW. This was like when Professor Culloden said that she would be a great potion inventor.
Feeling more confident and proud of herself, Lux was so ready to give this spell another go. She was determined to make her patronus even stronger this time, and the challenge made everything more worthwhile in the end. She had her game face on, and she would DO THIS.
Bringing her mind back to her happy memories, Lux let them all play through her head over and over again. There were so many of them and they were all so happy. She loved this so much and tried her best to let them fill her like Dakest said. It was hard, but she was totally trying her best. Performing the wand movement again, she cast the spell. "EXPECTO PATRONUM!!"
The result was even stronger than last time, and Lux let out a squeal. "Did you see that, Professor???" EEEEP!! Even if it wasn't a true Patronus, she was getting there. Her thoughts were super happy, but maybe the concentration was her problem; she needed to focus even harder. |
