be curious, not judgmental Gryffindor lost.
And it was dreadful, really.
Sophie rose after Kitridge brought the match to an end, looking less disappointed than she actually felt - she'd really hoped Zander would win, okay? - and gave Flamsteed a sympathetic shoulder-pat as she passed him to leave. "M'sorry Gryffindor lost, professor." The poor guy was VERY passionate over his lions, and Soph actually genuinely felt bad for him. "Zander was good, though. Y'should be proud of him." Ahem. Trying too hard? "You guys'll get 'em next time, m'sure." Unless Gryffindor was playing against Ravenclaw in the consolation match, in which... well. Ahem. Hehe. Sophie Brown would PUT UP A GOOD FIGHT against them. But she didn't need to say that aloud.
"Have a good day, professor." She hoped he didn't mind that she was going to steal away his prefect - he didn't want to keep him for any sort of post-match chitchat, did he? - and hurried off to meet up with Zander, who hopefully wasn't TOO disheartened by the loss. It was just a game, after all. She'd drag him along to bake cookies with her if he needed cheering up.
