He listened to her and watched as she picked up a feather and put it behind her ear. "Well as long as it'll work." He smiled at her and started strumming the guitar. He started singing quietly so no one would overhear as he played with a smile.
Undermiiiine. Rusty wasn't entirely sure what that word meant, so she just nodded at her friend. He was probably right anyway - he seemed pretty smart, so she would just trust him.
"Of COURSE I can teach you! You know, Halloween is coming up, and that's kind of a big time for the nature stuff. We could even do some later when it gets dark if you like." She always preferred life when it was dark outside. She was a night person.
Rusty had faith that it would work, so she didn't need to worry about that. She wiggled her bare toes in the grass as she continued to look around, but paused to watch her friend as he started playing... then she took a few steps closer to listen better. Wow. That was so nice! She listened for a minute, then started to dance a bit. She loved dancing, so she just did so whenever she felt like it. And outside with a friend playing music was the
perfect time for it!
