Needing a break from his research, the Astronomy professor had decided to descend from the Astronomy Tower to remind himself that there was more to the castle. Which of course there was, especially with all these passageways popping up all over the place. Made for keeping things organized quite difficult.
Not that the man was against a little chaos. He was, after all, an astronut himself. But with a passage way into Gryffindor now rumored to be in existence...well...the man did not want to have to eat the words he had shared with a certain Hufflepuff prefect at the opening feast.
Hence why he was here. Snooping about the suits of armor in hopes that the entrance was here. Somewhere. Maybe you had to climb IN one of the suits? Trap door in the feet or something to that effect? He would need someone small to fit in there easily...hmmm...
