But he'd try his very best.
He walked into class quietly giving Professor Botros a small, embarrassed smile before shuffling over to a-- Where were the chairs?... Uh. The unfamiliarity did another number to his already mixed feelings about being here in the first place. The Gryffindor spotted Ethan standing near the door though and that seemed like a good spot to stand by. 'Cause if he wasn't allowed in class, he could just slip out and hopefully it wouldn't be a big deal. Ahem. "Hi, Ethan," and now they wait... Right?
He looked calm and collected from the outside, but deep down, his insides began to churn uncomfortably. More students came, and Ethan could only hope that there will be someone...anyone, who will stand by him and distract him from his current situation. As much as he wanted to talk to the professor, just a few steps away from him, he simply can’t face him. Too much embarrassment, okay?
It didn’t take long for a familiar face to walk in and situate himself nearby. Ethan silently thanked the Nordic gods above for its great timing. The Slytherin turned his head towards the guy beside him and gave him a nonchalant grin.
“Prefect Adair.” He said offering his fist for a fist bump. The seventeen year old can’t help but think how Zander faired during his Runes exam. Was it okay to ask out of the blue? Well, maybe he will if the professor wasn’t within earshot. He’d play it safe.
“I wonder if Professor Glendower will make an appearance here today...” Him and Zander had been to Glendower’s classes in the past, so he was sure that Zander knew what he was talking about.
“Quite bizarre, isn’t it? The class didn’t require us to have our books this time...” So...will they simply have an activity for the day, or...?
