"Okay I guess." He said with a shrug of his shoulders. "It was tough at first." He rubbed his left arm that housed the scar from his first fight there which he had covered with a tattoo. "But I learned how to look after myself pretty quickly." If he hadn't, he'd probably be dead and that was no exaggeration. "It's not a place for the faint hearted."

Michael noticed the blush which made him chuckle again and he bumped her with his shoulder. "I think they made the right choice. So I guess you're no that quiet little girl anymore then, huh?"
Yep, there was still a trace of Train Boy she met her first year at Hogwarts. Beverly shot him a playful roll of her eyes and nodded. "Oh yes, terribly memorable you are." She could joke now, too. Not like when they first met, that wink would have scandalized her. Heh.

Her eyes flickered momentarily at his arm as he told her about Durmstrang. She was trying to read him a bit. It's been so long and now that one of her first friends was back well...she wanted to know about his adventures, and right now it seemed like he was remembering something significant. "It's what I've heard. Good thing you're tough and all." He looked like it more-so now. "Did you join their combat team?" The school might have not interested her but THAT did.

Beverly smiled down at her parchment and laughed softly at the nudge. Oh-oh. She let the quill sit too long on the parchment and now there was a Knut sized stain on it. The letter was going to have to wait.

Glancing back up at Michael, Beverly shrugged. "I dunno. Guess you'll have to find out, won't you?"
