Mostly misdemeanors and official warnings, but occasionally there's something juicy going on." Ahem. But he was totes professional, so maybe it was a good idea to shut up at that point.

More coffee was sipped.

Lex almost snorted, almost. The jab at all the furniture in here didn't go unnoticed. Didn't change the fact it was missing something though. Just...she couldn't put her finger on it. "I do wonder who keeps restocking the coffee in here." Hers had come from the food court but she happened to know there was always some brewed and ready when people got there. "Do they like...elect a committee to maintain the comfort?" That's what people did in the working world....right? Elections and such.

She was half way through a bite of her muffin when he mentioned something about being sworn to secrecy.

"Whoa, really? I didn't know that? It's all those meetings and cases you have to sit in on, isn't it?" She couldn't remember if YATIs were sworn to secrecy on specific matters but it was starting to seem more like everyone was. It was good he wouldn't go blabbing though considering she didn't wanna be permanently banned from that level.

And then he was going on about juicy court hearings. Lex quieted down, obviously expecting something epic but that was it, Dale had gone silent on her, effectively leaving her on a cliff hanger. "Well? You gonna tell me or what? I don't get to see nearly as many." Too busy sending the people to jail in the first place--if only, really she was just walking the Mystery and leaving with bruises from the day's training. No regrets though. Auror life would be worth it. "It's only fair." Nodnod.
