And if Benzi mucked things up it wouldn't be too bad in front of his Head of House. Yes.
He knocked three times on the door, adjusted his bag over his shoulder and waited. With the library set for the morning rush after the first classes had finished Leo had retreated to his office to catch up on some paperwork and personal correspondence. His white kneazle was playing with a ball of yarn on the floor when there was a series of knocks on his door.
Saying a few choice words over the big blob of ink that now stained his letter to Piers he went to answer the door. Sticking his head out, he smiled warmly at the boy standing on his doorstep. "Hello Benzi! Would you like to come in and talk?" Leaving the door open, he expected the eagle to follow him inside and close it after him. SPOILER!!: Gabe Quote:

It didn't look like it was going to jump on him and eat his face, at least. "Tea is fine...thank you.".....he remembered to add. There was nothing to do about his eyes continuing to meet the kneazle, though. "I needed to discuss Quill business with you, sir." Fixing a cup of tea for Gabriel, Leo catered it and his own coffee mug over to the side table as he took a seat in the plush chair opposite Gabriel. Taking a sip from his long awaited coffee he nodded thoughtfully. "I wondered when you’d show up. It’s been quite a few years since we last had an active Quill newspaper. We need to hold a meeting with all those interested in writing for the school paper. Are you feeling up to the task of managing the paper?" He hoped it wouldn't be too much for Gabriel to take on outside of his studies and prefect duties. Leo supposed only time would tell. SPOILER!!: Eden Quote:

Yeah.
Her embarrassing behavior/remarks. Which, she did want to apologize to Gabe for, but she...was having a hard time swallowing her pride at the moment. And she was a little afraid of the reception of such an apology.
But here she was, because she was just...sigh. She was down and not feeling herself and while outside sources were nice, she wanted to talk to an adult...in school. And one who was more readily available than Iwin or Emmalee or her parents.
Plus, Mr. Kitridge wouldn't...try to lecture her or anything.
ALL THE SIGHS.
She knocked. After enjoying a nice lunch in Cassie's company Leo had worked tirelessly for a few hours assisting students with this or that around the library. He had dusted off some shelves and had even had time to re-shelf the bookcases closest to the Stained Glass Windows. He was heading back to make himself a glass of well earned lemonade in his office where he ran into Eden on his doorstop. "Afternoon Eden, want to come in for a glass of cold lemonade?" Leo queried as he unlocked his door with the use of his wand.
