When the door opened and Sabel appeared, Zeke couldn't help but GRIN... because SURELY there were more pro's than there were con's to this whole alien situation.

Wait.

MR. ROGERS... he presumed? HE PRESUMED TO KNOW HIM?! WHAT WAS THIS? As for the name thing, he was working on it. And was REALLY going to work on it.

"Just Zeke... no Rogers," he stated simply in response. Mr. Rogers had been his father once upon a time, but he AND that, was no more. "You should know that by now." Standards and expectations, this third year had them.

Furthermore what surprised him was that Sabel was being totally RUDE. "Don't be silly, I'm not stupid enough to ask for for advice on that directly, it's all about the bread crumbs," he acknowledged, "little things that seem perfectly innocent, I can't have people knowing my plans that's too much..." what was that word Elijah always harped on about? ... "anti...sipation." Something like that.

But um. Awkward much? Zeke inhaled a breath to help him stand taller, and swung his arms a little at his sides.

"You know it's rude not to invite people in? Generally people invite people in, does mum know about your manners?" If not, he could always inform her, he was sure she would love to hear that he was being rejected by her own friend where help with his class was involved. Woe is him.

It was difficult, to maintain a straight face. Especially with the initial excited grin of the boy, and the subsequent lecture that he got. By the end of it, Sabel couldn't manage and the genuine smile he'd been retaining came forth with a belt of laughter.

"By Merlin's socks, Zeke, you take so much after your mother. It's good to see you." Opening the door, he stepped to the side to let the kid in. "You sure you want to come in? There are s'mores out here." Though, he supposed he could pull a few into his office. Why was no one interested in the s'mores. Perhaps he would have to try a different food.

OOC: You may post in Sabel's office now if you wish

SPOILER!!: Kace and acknowledgement of Benny *keeps pairing together*

More importantly he said, "I am also here to discuss career options as well because I got my OWLS score and I did well in the DADA section. I was wondering what jobs to get with that.." he said hopefully he didn't sound too desperate. He was just curious to know what his options were.

Sabel's eyes went from Atreyu to Lecium, his mood sobering a little at the question that was presented. So far, this was the second student to jump from OWL scores to a career destination. The true question was, how was he to put the answer delicately?

Propping his foot on the edge of the firepit, Sabel scraped the heel of his shoe on the edge of the stone. "Well, congratulations are in order for your OWL scores, of that there is no doubt. But, it's not a direct link from test scores to a career choice. Scores are a requirement, but not the deciding factor. The biggest question you need to start asking yourself, is what career your personality is lined up for. Scores can change, personality is harder." Talk about a vague answer. "You can do a lot with good scores in DADA, as you can with good scores in other subjects, but that just means you can get in. Not that you'll do well."
