Finally at least someone who wasn't a child and new to the Department. Beth felt maybe just slightly better knowing that girl was outta here! But then Elizabeth got a look at the Department head and something made her feel uneasy again...... She couldn't put her finger on it, but she felt like she needed to exercise caution around this man as well.

"Mr. Rainey." Beth said nodding in his direction. "I'd shake you hand, but they are occupied at the moment." Beth added nodding toward her cuffs again. "I've been attempting to cooperate with your young employee there. But she is trying to find fault when there is none." Beth added thinking of all the times the the YATI member simply wouldn't listen.

Beth was thirsty, she really was, she was more then tempted to take a drink, but the unease of the man infront of her made her think twice about it. What is he slipped her the truth telling serom. That would be no good. So smiling Beth simply replied. "No thank you, I'm okay."

Then finally adding. "So what is it I can do for you to get me out of here and back to work." Ugh, Beth shuddered at the thought of her in tray already.
