Of course she wasn't alone, and with her fingers interlocked with Gavin's, Emily passed the family's by with pleasantries and claimed herself a seat in a middle row on Vic's side. The man was going through with it, the institution of marriage... good for him.
"I'll bet you five galleons he cries," she whispered, leaning her head in toward Gavin's.
Vic always did seem a more sentimental person than most others you might have found in the MLE. Warm, approachable, jovial... he possessed so many outwardly good personality traits that she would be surprised if a tear or two didn't meet his eyes.
