Seeing
that look plastered across Clara's face, Gabriel had been minutes from simply giving in and joining her...Or, actually, he might've still...but then very LOUD talking pulled all the Prefect's focus down the table a ways.
There had been some sarcastic remark from Kyroh...which, to be fair, hadn't been unwarranted as the person was shouting...but the response felt like bullying. Gabe did NOT appreciate bullies.
Also, he was NOT a fan of having to be authoritative...or having to speak, in general. So, mild annoyance was present.
