He hoped everyone got their owls with the candy and announcement. He'd brought a few extra candy with him, in case anyone missed it, because the WORLD must know he had a daughter!
"Cosgrach!" Look, just the man she wanted to see! Meredith waved enthusiastically and smiled big at the potions professor. "Congratulations again on the newest addition to your family!" It was nice to speak to all the staff before the term and enjoy their company. Though she was ready to see all the smiling faces of the students and the positive energy of a new term. The brunette always wondered what her colleagues got up to during their free time. Well, some of them, anyway. She supposed she didn't want t know about all.
Speaking of colleagues, what was Maddox up to? Meredith glanced down the table at him and the new Defence Against the Dark Arts professor curiously. He was being awfully friendly to the new guy, wasn't he? Hm.
