Somewhere between getting off the carriages and entering the Great Hall, he had lost his girlfriend. No doubt she was catching up on gossip with Ruby or one of her other friends.
Michael didn't mind, they had all year together. So he headed towards the Gryffindor table. He spotted a couple of people he remembered from when he had been here last but most of the people at the table, he didn't know. Coming back to Hogwarts after a two year stint at Durmstrang felt a little weird.
He waved to those at the table before taking a seat. It may have felt weird to be back but it also felt good.
