This was one of the few times that AJ arrived to something early-ish. If she was being honest with herself it all had to do with consuming food. That was a sure fire way to get her to something on time. Or at the very least it would get her there in a reasonable time frame. Her eyes scanned the table and she actually didn't recognize that many faces. A look to the left and then to the right confirmed that she indeed was at the correct table. Hmm... small pox?

Anywho, two of her favorite people were there. Benny and Adi both got warm smiles. She would soon be plopping herself down by them, but first she needed to introduce herself. A slightly older dude was introducing himself as Yoongi and he had a pretty cool sounding voice. "Wicked accent. I'm AJ." The person that was the most fun at the table, but the boy would find that out soon enough.

Zander was there too. Holla! Was it a prefect thing to always be early because Adi was the same way. AJ made her way over to her second favorite prefect and held out her fist for a bump. She knew how much Zander enjoyed them. "I can't wait to assemble the troops." Yeah, he wasn't getting out of that one. Ahem.

Moving on...

Emmy, Nemo and Cinnamon were all familiar faces and got waves. Maybe there wasn't so many new faces after all. She was operating on an empty stomach and that is always a recipe for disaster.

AJ zoned in on the girl (Marsha), and she was smiling so hard that her cheeks hurt. "Hiii... I'm AJ. Welcome to the best house ever." Like ever, ever. Why was she so pumped? Because she was back at Hogwarts and food would be arriving any minute. Life just didn't get any better than that. "How are you liking Hogwarts so far? It's pretty impressive, huh?" Just wait until the new girl actually got to explore the castle. Oh, AJ could show her around, she could. Adventure buddies!

Yellow caught her eye, and AJ was happy to see that the robes belonged to Lux. AJ actually owed a lot to the older girl. She was one of the few people that were there for her when her whole world flipped upside down. "Hey, Lux!" An extra beamy smile for you. "Did you have a good summer?" The fourth year was pretty sure Lux spent a lot of time with Bay, and that meant that Lux's summer was awesome. Only a few years from now AJ would be in the same shoes as the older hufflepuff.
