Zander was the first to respond to them, sending him a wave. Benny went to return it when the crup went to take off from his owner's lap. He in turn moved, ready to go after the pup should it try to escape, especially towards the corridor. However he got a squawk from Conrad for his sudden movements and the crup only got as far as the other lion prefect's lap nearby. Problem averted.
Oh right...the other eagle prefect had graduated! So their fellow sixth year had tajen her place...and returned his casual greeting. "Congrats Sophie..." he said, adding his own congradulations to the Ravenclaw. It was an accomplishment that deserved the praise, even if he was slow on the uptake. He had been more concerned he'd get dirty looks for being there and NOT being a prefect. Benny moved to take a seat of his own following Adi's lead in getting comfortable where they were.
Speaking of prefects, there was Puck entering the compartment...Another Puck.
With food but that wasn't of any interest.
Was was of interest was there were currently two nearly identical 6th year girls in the train compartment.
Benny looked between the two girls trying to make sense of it. Obviously one wasn't really Puck but he was clueless as to who it was, which one was the fake, and why anyone would actually do what they were doing. Judging by Caleb and Adi's reaction it was clear they didn't know what to make of the situation either. He exchanged a look with his best friend, simply shrugging in response.
Why did he get the feeling this could get weird?
