Very glad that it was, in fact, Sophie Brown who had been in the compartment. Awkward side conversations with Gabe always felt uncomfortable, since they didn't really know each other outside of prefect duties. Adi and Puck were fine, but didn't really know Caleb and Beverly. And... Marigold was another story all together even though she was really nice. So yes. This couldn't have worked out any better. Who would've thought that Zander Adair showed up early!?

He quickly closed the door before letting her loose (hopefully none of the others would mind a crup running in circles within the closed compartment ahem). "Sooo..." his eyes traveled onto her robe, where the badge rested. "How does it feel?" He gave her a small shoulder nudge as he sat down right next to her, making sure to keep an eye on Azalea all the while.

Merlin. It's like this cruppy never set foot on a train before.... Only she had.... Last term? So why in Merlin's name was she so excited about this. On second thought.... Maybe he shouldn't have let her go off the leash? Gabe would probably be unhappy about it, didn't really strike Zander as a creatures guy. He was sure the others wouldn't say anything. But just to be sure, he bent down and scooped the crup into his lap.
