"you have your mirror, yea?" honestly he didn't care about her having anything else he just wanted to be able to talk to her every day. "and you wand and books and all that non important stuff?" he was funny at least he thought so. He turned to face her, leaving her trolley where he had stopped pushing it. "Are you ok?" She wasn't clinging to him... yet. This was a good thing, yea?
She wasn't clinging. She wasn't scowling. She wasn't hexing anyone yet. Beverly was perfectly fine. At least, that's what her exterior said. The prefect probably looked like she was in a great mood while holding Jeremiah's hand.
It WAS all great, no? They were good in health, they had a great time in the States and her dad -- who walked right behind them -- hasn't looked at her boyfriend like he had a target on his face. The day was actually running smoothly.
But it was not all okay.
Since her third year Jeremiah and her have been partners in crime, snogging buddies, the person they could blow up on and still be there for one another. It was all sappy and sentimental, the stuff she didn't like but...not having Jeremiah at arms reach was going to definitely feel strange. And the reality of it was suddenly hitting her.
Beverly ignored her feelings. "You're starting to sound like Kennedy." Of whom she heard chuckle behind them. "But I do. Everything ready here." She patter her trunk. Was she okay? The depended on things. "Perfectly okaaaay." She chirped a little bit overly cheery.
