Speaking of the little cousin, Junia looked down when she heard a squeak and then over at the adult people because look, Alice! "S'Prince West's princess." Junia giggled and smiled big at the older girl, waving her free hand. Hello, Alice. Hi! She was going to be super impressed with them today, did she know? And then she could brag to 'San about how great they were! Uh-huh, she could!
Like how they were going to be super good at getting their brooms! Junia had placed her hand out over hers, standing up tall like her daddy had taught her (so she wouldn't end up all hunched when she was a grown lady) and exuding all the confidence of a seasoned broom flying veteran. And then she very bossily said, "Up." The broom wiggled a bit and Junia's eyes went wide because Merlin's beard, look at her! Almost got it on her first try! 'Cept she didn't quite get it and she was gonna try again. Was Alice watching?
