Austin didn't feel nausceous, so he didn't feel the need to ask Mr. Kittridge for any chocolate. Although he doesn't normally pass up the chance for chocolate, but he figured the others needed it more than him. So instead, he dropped off his luggage and followed the others. The last thing he wanted was to get left behind. Everyone else seemed to have friends, so if he did get lost, no one would want to look for him. The only person who would have an issue about him being gone would be Ophelia, and they hadn't really been talking much in the past few months, so it wouldn't really matter.
As he walked, he wondered if he could get lost here. Then he wouldn't have to go back home to his father, he wouldn't have to worry about what Ophelia thought about him, and he didn't have to bother with anything. He already created a potion, so he left his mark on the world. They would name him the youngest student to ever create a potion and all sorts of stuff. No one would really care. Right?
