Derry absolutely didn't jump when someone put their arm around her. Definitely not. She was the picture of composure and grace. She straightened the neck of her robes and smiled right back at... name... name... name... "Alexis!" Got there eventually, thanks brain.

Derry was aware of that guy. She remembered that match pretty well actually, but she was semi-berating herself for not learning everyone's names, because she should probably do that... There were just so many players... how did the fans do it? Anyway, Beck got a quick thumbs up in response to his wave.

Yes. Laps. Good. Then at least they'd be in the air and Derry would feel more confident. "Yeah, good idea. We could do some general passing warm ups too..." Like they'd done at Hogwarts... sure, they did similar stuff at Montrose, but she just remembered them being more hilarious at school, for some reason.

Anyway, laps. She walked through the gaggle of children, nudging the ones who weren't listening, then nodded in Esme's direction then kicked off, taking one second to hover in the air and tie her hair up out of the way.
