Royaly waving her parents off in true princess manner, all those little "pearls of wisdom" they had tried to force upon her before she had run off to get her BROOM. Play nice with the other kids. Don't push. Listen to the teachers. Blah blah blah blah. It was all cleverly forgotten by the time her lacy black shoes squished the lush green grass. Sachiko gave the area a cursory look over before marching right over to the brooms to select the BEST one for herself.

Even better since SHE was here FIRST. So she totally could pick the BEST one.

"Hmmmmmm," she murmured, tossing some of her chestnut hair over her shoulder. "HMMMMMMMMMM." Squatting by the brooms, she gave each one a firm poke with her finger. When nothing fantastical happened with any of them, her little heart sank. These brooms were all so BORING! Good thing she had brought some goodies with her to decorate her broom with. Then it would be fit for a princess. "You're okay. I guuuuuuuuuuuess," she sighed, pulling a broom by its bristles off to the side. "'Specially once I make you pretty!"
