Finally. This bloody interrogation could be over with. Annabelle could hardly stand another moment of being in this mess. The work meant for Rainey completely took a turn for the worse...well...that happened a while ago, back when the yelling first started...but...now it got even worse. Anywho.
Heading back to the viewing room, hair returning to the shade of purple, she waved her finger at the notebook and quill laying on the desk. As if like a dog being called by it's master, the book flew over and opened up. Quill zoomed out of the spiral into writing position. Taking a successful and cocky sip of her coffee, the Liaison nodded her head to acknowledge Rainey. "Sorry you had to hear that boss." The accent slowly coming back to her once again petite voice.
Now with Rainey acknowledged, the woman could get to Sabel's question. Obviously, the man knew nothing of her. Polyjuice potion. Psssssh. Please!!! As if. "Is that the best you could think of to support her position?" The tone of her voice was cocky, but in a subtle way. More of a, 'believe me, I know what I'm about to say' voice. "You are talking to a master when it comes to Transfiguration or Polyjuice Potions. I would've been able to tell if that wasn't the real woman. I met her before." Sip of the latte in hand. "Although looks may be spot on, personality is one of the hardest things to mimic. I would've noticed a few flaws in the personality. Trust me." Suddenly, her hands flourished in a grandeur motion. "You are talking to a Metamorphmagus after all. Recognize this?"
On cue Annabelle morphed into the person she portrayed to Sabel and a few others at Orientation. Kita Skeeter! Voice loud, emphasizing certain syllables, she said "KIta SkEEter here. Today's headline for the Daily Prophet is 'Escaped convict at Ministry Orientation!"
That should prove a thing or two.
