"You're welcome, Miss...." Sky replied to the wrongly arrested. And she was about to follow the assistants suggestion (because it was a suggestion instead of an order), but then her wand was ripped right from her hand!
"Give. Me. My. Wand." she said, not raising her voice but also clearly not in the mood for a tussle. Because, really, what right did he have?! Not that she couldn't survive without it. Luckily, her family had chosen to embrace anything and everything Muggle and her aunt had even taught her some self-defense, but still. It was her wand, the one she'd had ever since she'd started Hogwarts almost eleven years ago. IT WAS HER WAND!
And if anyone was making a joke of the MLE, it was Alexa with her falsely arresting people just for accidently spilling coffee on her. Besides......."You do realize that this is a false arrest anyway, right? Because Alexa's a YATI and we don't have clearance to arrest anyone, since we're not 'full employees of the department' and all that." Hopefully, the arrested woman would take advantage of the information Sky had just dropped and file a claim, because that's what the department needed at this point.
Ugh, she soooo should've taken her aunt up on her offer to complete her training in France. Or maybe she could get a job teaching somewhere...
